My research explores the links between domestic politics and international relations. I am particularly interested in the links between accountability, enforced through retrospective voting or party competition, and international conflict. I also have a few projects that fall solely within one of those two areas. Methodologically, I am interested in developing formal models and evaluating their implications with quantitative analysis.
For more information about my research, see the research section of this site. For more information about the courses I teach, see the teaching section.
