I am a graduate student in the  Department of Political Science at the Pennsylvania State University.  I will be starting as an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in August 2008.

My research explores the links between domestic politics and international relations.  I focus primarily on the links between party competition and international conflict.  To advance such arguments, I develop game-theoretic models and subject their implications to empirical testing using statistical methods.

For more information about my research, including future projects, see the research section of this site.  For more information about the courses I teach, including links to syllabi and lecture slides, see the teaching section.
