I am an assistant professor in the  Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.

My research explores the links between domestic politics and international relations.  I focus primarily on the links between party competition and international conflict, developing game-theoretic models and subjecting their implications to empirical testing using statistical methods.

For more information about my research, see the research section of this site.  For more information about the courses I teach, see the teaching section.
